Description

As a E-Com Procurement Executive/Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing of products for our online store, ensuring we have the right inventory at the right time to meet customer demand. You will be responsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a group of products to maximize consumer appeal. In this role you will be responsible to implement, initiate, and perform direct materials’ purchasing strategies and transactional activities, to maintain and develop purchasing strategies and function performance in accordance with agreed business plans.



Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in purchasing/buyer/procurement, preferably in an e-commerce environment within a fashion/ready to wear industry.
· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
· Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions based on that data.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
· Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online merchandising strategies.
· Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
· High level of attention to detail.
· Positive and can-do attitude.
· Solid knowledge of category management, marketing & sales principles.
· Bachelor’s degree

 Identify and source products to sell on our e-commerce platform, considering market trends, customer demand, and pricing strategies.
· Analyse sales data to make informed purchasing decisions and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
· Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and terms.
· Collaborate and Maintain relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure timely delivery of products and to expand product categories.
· Work closely with the marketing team to determine the competitive pricing and promotional activities and to ensure the product mix meets the needs of our target customer.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies that drive sales and revenue.
· Manage the inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels and product availability.
· Monitor and analyse competitor pricing and offerings, adjusting our product mix and pricing strategies as needed.
· Provide input on product pricing strategies and promotional campaigns and determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility.
· Continuously monitor and improve supply chain efficiencies.
· Handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
